About us

LOA Watercraft Solutions Ltd. was founded by four naval architect professionals in October 2022. In the preceding period, working as junior engineers and individual entrepreneurs, we gained experience with the operational structures and design methodologies of several domestic and international design offices. One important guideline for us from the beginning to fulfill our commissions has been to keep the functioning elements from these past experiences while further developing the less suitable ones. To achieve this, we launched our joint venture applying a mindset based on “Agile Project Management,” known from the software development industry.

During our years of existence, we have worked both as subcontractors and main contractors in the Hungarian market, and we have established stable subcontractor relationships to solve tasks that do not belong to our office’s main fields of expertise (electrical systems design, hydraulic systems design). We approach design tasks with great confidence, whether it’s building new or refitting of existing vehicles operating on water.

We have extensive experience in developing sub-tasks of multi-party projects and collaborating with partner designers. Additionally, we have often participated in the construction phase following design as consultants, working closely with shipyard project managers to facilitate the construction process.

Our main field of expertise is the design of amphibious vehicles, in which we have accumulated significant expertise over the years, successfully applying the acquired knowledge and different perspectives in other areas as well.
